I co-taught design at SVA.
I use Claude Code and Copilot to pressure-test strategy, synthesize research, and build working prototypes in days instead of sprints. Dev gets something real to react to, which kills a whole category of handoff ambiguity.
I share my process before it’s polished: methods, half-formed directions, the parts I’m unsure about. Early input from engineering, product, and stakeholders costs less than late alignment, and the work ends up belonging to everyone.
I translate messy business problems into decisions leadership can actually make: here’s the risk, here are the options, here’s what I’d do. Design earns a seat by shaping what gets built, not by asking permission to build it.
